Interesting times to be a conservative
It's tough to be a conservative in this environment. I feel for Michael J. Fox, and I can sympathize with him and all he's going through, but have a hard time stomaching what he's done in this political ad. It's tough to watch him involuntarily shake and squirm to pimp a political hack. I don't pretend to know much about embryonic stem cell research, and am reasonably sure that most people do not as well. Still, if he's so interested in the research, I guess he's entitled to speak his mind. It's America, after all.
I've lost relatives to Parkinson's, and I'd love to see a cure in our lifetime. I'm still not happy that I had to watch Fox peddle his condition for the sake of a few votes.

Judge John G. Koeltl, stop killing my family!
Lynne Stewart was sentenced today to 28 months in prison on terrorism charges. This is the lawyer for Omar Abdel Rahman, the terrorist thug responsible for plotting to blow up important landmarks in New York City.
She was given a light sentence because the federal judge took pity on her because she is recovering from cancer and she had performed many wonderful acts for the community during her time as a lawyer.
Judge John G. Koeltl, I’d like to know what you’re going to do about my friends and relatives that died as a result of the actions of this woman’s clients, whom she ACTIVELY supported. She went beyond the limits of competent representation in a court of law. She BROKE the law.
Judge, you truly are a bastard. I could crap out more character than you’ve ever had. I hope when you finally meet your end, it’s at the hands of someone that this bitch helped.
